i wonder what it feels like to win the lottery.

seriously, i wonder what that feeling is like. to be sitting there, reading the numbers {or listening to} in your bathrobe and slippers. holding your power ball ticket in your hand and hoping everything matches up. and when, to much to your surprise, it does all add up. and you, you are a winner. and well, not just a winner, but THEE winner. i imagine it's pretty awesome. i imagine it's an ecstatic surreal sort of thing. mmm, and i totally wouldn't mind experiencing such a feeling. jussss' saying.

i just got back from a lovely night of babysitting sir simon. he's such a trip. and totally adorable. we made a video on my phone, and as soon as i figure out how to upload the video-it will be posted for you to all see. because it is great. and by 'we made a video,' i really mean he performed, i taped.

i finished cathy's book this evening. it was a different read. a tad difficult to get into, but once i did-i actually enjoyed the idea of it. i probably wouldn't throw it out there as a recommendation-but whatever.

now i'm onto my next book, but i haven't decided which one i'm going to go with yet. choices, choices!

this morning for breakkie, i scarfed down an egg sandwich on a pepperridge flat.

this held be over until lunch-and even than i wasn't starving. i also had a big cup of unpictured coffee. delish.

lunch was a pita filled peanut butter sandwich. these pita's are great. so doughy and made to perfection.

i had some foodshouldtastegood lime chips on the side. i adore these chips, for realz, yo.

i tried something new as well! i've never had rachel's yogurt-but it sounded and looked enticing.

i was pretty pumped about digging into this pomegranate flavored cup. it met my expectations. i really enjoyed this! i'll definitely be purchasing more, and venturing out into the land of different flavors.

when it was time to babysit i still hadn't eaten dinner because i wasn't hungry for anything specific. i grabbed this peanut butter larabar. this was the first time i've ever tried one of these. i didn't hate it, but i didn't love it. i did really like the peanut chips in it-that made me smile. i'm sure i'll buy this bar again, larabar hasn't seen the last of me.

i did end up eating some sort of dinner upon my arrival home from hanging out with simon. but i didn't take a picture of it because it was much too late to be eating, and nothing i want to be reminded of eating. therefore, if there is no proof that i ate it-it's sort of kind of like i didn't eat it at all. rightttttt?

i want to join a gym, but i have a serious problem of PAYING to workout. knowing darn well that i can just exercise for free in my living room, backyard, basement and by going for a run. but i don't have an elliptical in my house-and i'm jonesing to use one always and forever. i loved that sweet ass machine in college and miss waiting 45 minutes to hop on one.

i'd probably rather not go into work tomorrow morning.
but thrilled it's already thursday.
happy almost friday, snickerdoodles!

what would you probably rather not do?

a lot to discuss

and 1. 2. 3. gooooo. . .

many moons ago, i was embraced with a glorious package from world of grains. they filled up a brown box of some of the most delicious goodies-and my taste buds have been truly thankful. i have finally tasted at least one of everything they sent to me.

and what does that include?

blueberry cookies
multigrain cookies
oatmeal raisin cookies
garlic herb crackers
multigrain crackers
garden vegetable crackers

and as if that wasn't enough, they also sent along a t-shirt, a great notepad and some of the most amazing pens. {i've gotten many comments while using}

from their website:
Our products are made with basic, high quality ingredients like whole grains, real fruit and butter. We do that for a few reasons. First, the complex flavors of whole grains don't need much embellishment. Second, we're just like you: we like to read the ingredients list and know what it is that we're eating.

what did i think?
well! out of all the munchies-my favorite are the blueberry cookies. and boy am i disappointed that i'm all out. these cookies, and all the cookies for that matter, taste so legit it's not even funny. they don't taste like some healthy diet cookie or anything. they fill each bag with the perfect amount of goodness-and they leave the tummy extremely satisfied.

as for the crackers, i adored the garlic herb flavor. the multigrain also was top notch. they are a savory crunchy cracker but i didn't loveeee the garden vegetable. i don't know if it was too much veggie taste or what, but i just wasn't so keen for them. but surely, they didn't go to waste.

next on the agenda. . .

my familia is away for the week. and they left me pretty foodless. at first i was pretty bummed that while they were doing their vacation grocery shopping they didn't think to get me some eating material. quickly, i got over it by venturing to whole foods and trader joes. after stepping foot into each store-i forgave my parents and went to heaven. oh how i adore whole foods and trader joes. look at my exciting goods i scored.

i adore peanut butter. and i adore the lovely peanut butter and co. products. however, i usually don't love the price that goes along with them. but while dancing around whole foods-i decided to slurge on a jar of mighty maple. i haven't enjoyed a jar of their peanut butter since a september trip in new york, so this dent in the wallet is well deserved-and worth it!
this doughy pita bread was way too hard to resist. i can't wait to peanut butter up a piece of it.i also am giving the pepperidge farm version of arnold's thins a try. i have high hopes.this morning, my breakfast was a tasty honey graham z bar. yum! it was my first time ever trying this and it won't be the last.

for lunch, i used up the last of an arnold thin, smotherd on my mighty maple peanut butterand some trader joes pretzels filled with peanut butter on the side. i told you, i like peanut butter!

dinner was rather simple. i gave the new pepperidge farm flats a try. a.maze.ing. loved these. sorry, arnold-these babies might just be my new crush. my sandwich included some healthy choice oven baked turkey, spinach leaves, some mozzerella cheese and a little salsa. i added a pickled and some lime chips from foodshouldtastegood. these chips are incredible!
moving right along. . .

i finished the current book i was reading, the middle place.

i seriously ADORED it. not only did i love that the author is from the mainline area, {where i attended college} and that she talks about philadelphia often, or that she is a total daddy's girl, but i just loved the whole premise of the story: the author's battle with cancer, and than her dad's battle, and how awesome the fight she puts into both are.

and some short and sweet i believes:

i believe. . .

my current nail polish is slightly too loud, but that's what i like about it

i believe. . .

not taking advantage of my parents being away makes me feel like an adult

i believe. . .

falling asleep by 9:30 is comforting

i believe. . .

the phillies needed the 22-1 win last night

i believe. . .

white lies are okay to tell sometimes

go on, tell me yours!

it makes me want a hogdog realllll bad.

this holiday makes me overly giddy. i love the patriotism. the fireworks. the bbq'ing. the music. the flags. the movie independence day. the colors.
seriously, it just doesn't get more lovely.

i started celebrating the loveliness on thursday when one of my very patriotic co-workers brought in some fabulous goodies to kick off the three day weekend.
{in my case, four day}

saturday, friends and i enjoyed a day of grilling, beer and pool action.

and than a {not so fabulous} fireworks show.
but the company was just darling.

i hope everyone had a glorious time ringing in america's independence!

sun is fun.

i am still working the kinks out with my new job. it still isn't my favorite thing in the entire world, but i'm dealing. and that's the important thing, correct?

it is hard to believe that july 4th is already on saturday. wow. and yay. i love all the patriotic stuff. gets me all excited. i am sad that i'll be missing out on my family vacation this year. every year we go to the outer banks. there is a whole slew of us. they are all leaving this friday at midnight. but since i just started working and all-i felt like i couldn't already ask for a week off. ugh.

for lunch yesterday i chowed down on this pretzel with some mustard on the side

and this bag of cookies from world of grains
these oatmeal raisin cookies are to die for! i seriously love them so much. and i never feel guilty eating them. i think i've just about completed at least a sample of each snack i recieved from this wonderful company-so review tomorrow!

i had been sooooo thirsty all day long yesterday-so i treated myself to this drink
it was refreshing. but i definitely didn't LOVE it.

i participated in a book swap hosted by one of my favorites. i was paired up with this lovelie who sent me this darling package! i am so excited to start reading shoe addicts anonymous! thanksssss!

last night jonathan and i decided to go play bingo at our churchs' carnival. bingo is always a big to do with us. we pretty much love it. the sister came along to play as well. HOWEVER, we were totally bummed when we got there and found out there was no bingo this year. we took our sad faces and decided to just walk around. oh carnivals.

sister and jonathan decided to hope on a ride
this thing went really high in the air and spun SOOOOO fast. i laughed hysterically while jonathan held on tight to his classes and sister held on to her flip flops. both felt ill afterwards.

i was quite pumped to find a package sitting on my bed when i got home from work today. {and the new glamour magazine}

this little diddy came in the mail for me to review.
this sexy cover looks so appealing. i can't wait to read it. thanks so much, mary anne!

in the land of exercise-i've been a slacker. i can't seem to find the motivation. i want to find it, but i don't know where to look. it's awful. and as soon as i come home from work-i'm the world's biggest piglet. i devour EVERYTHING. i feel like i can't eat enough. i need to put an end to it. right.this.very.second.
{or maybe starting tomorrow...}
